List of fastest Twenty20 centuries

Achieving a hundred in the T20 format isn't easy task but Lokesh Rahul, who plays for India national cricket team joined the elite company with his maiden T20 hundred against West Indies on Saturday.

West Indies’ Evin Lewis and India’s KL Rahul both scored their maiden T20I hundreds in fastest time. 

Both were fast enough to make it into the list of 5 fastest centuries in Twenty20 format..!

Australia T20 squad for Sri Lanka

Australian batsman Glenn Maxwell has been recalled into the squad for the next month's two-match Twenty20 internationals series against Sri Lanka.

The 27-year-old was into a shock when the 15-man ODI squad was announced last month but now the Victorian has held his place for the T20 matches to be played next month.

However Usman Khawaja, Josh Hazlewood and Mitch Marsh are all three has been ruled out of the squad that played in the World T20 earlier this year.

First T20 – Pallekele Stadium, 6 September.

Second T20 – R. Premadasa Stadium, 9 September.

Virat Kohli becomes 1st Indian captain to win two Tests in the Caribbean Island

India’s stunning performance in the fourth test against the West Indies at St. Lucia leads them a remarkable victory..

The proactive style of strokes from the Indian batsman with the likes of Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane helped the Tourists to post a decent target for the hosts. 

Eventually, India have won its third consecutive Test series in the Caribbean Island. Indian tests skipper Virat Kohli has gone a step further as the 27-year-old became the first Indian captain ever to win two tests in the West Indies.

This is also India’s third back to back victory under Kohli’s captaincy, after a 2-1 win against Sri Lanka, followed by a 3-0 massacre of South Africa at home, and now, a surprising 2-0 lead over the West Indies in a four match tests series.

India to Host Bangladesh for Historic Test in Feb 2017

India will host their neighbour country Bangladesh for a one-off Test match in February next year, marking the Tigers’s first official Test trip since 2000.

India, who are currently 2nd in the ICC Test rankings have visited to Bangladesh, but the Tigers have never played with a red ball on Indian soil because of scheduling clashes.

"India will play Bangladesh in a historic one-off Test match from February 08-12, 2017 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. The Test match will mark Bangladesh's first official visit to India since attaining Test status in 2000," BCCI Secretary Ajay Shirke said in a statement.

Bangladesh Cricket Board President Nazmul Hassan said the one-off Test match would be a elated experience for players and fans of both countries.

"For the cricketers who will be representing Bangladesh and India, this will be a much anticipated game and given the competitive nature of their limited overs matches in the recent past, I believe the clash between these two cricket crazy nations will catch the imagination.

"The long wait for us to play a Test match on Indian soil is finally over and this is a time for celebration," he said.
